GEL AI provides video generation with usage-based billing. This page explains how video estimates, final charges and wallet adjustments work, and how to ask about a charge.
Estimates are not fixed prices
Before generation, the studio quotes estimated setup and processing costs and reserves funds from your wallet. The final charge is calculated from actual usage. If the final charge is lower, the unused reserved amount returns to your wallet. If it is higher, the difference is charged.
An overrun can leave a negative wallet balance. Your next top-up covers that balance before funding new generation.
What happens when a job fails?
If a job never starts setup or uses processing resources, its reserved amount is returned to the wallet. If setup or processing has already occurred, the job is settled for that usage even if it did not produce a completed video.
A wallet adjustment is not a refund to your payment card. For questions about a payment refund or a disputed charge, contact support with the relevant job or payment reference.
Wallet funding and checkout
The wallet holds USD, with a $5 minimum top-up and no required subscription for pay-as-you-go video generation. A top-up funds the wallet; it does not purchase a fixed number of videos.
Checkout shows payment processing fees separately from the wallet credit. Applicable location-based taxes are shown at checkout. Review the total and available payment methods before paying.
Polar checkout and payment policies
GEL AI uses Polar as merchant of record for checkout. Review Polar Checkout Buyer Terms for the terms governing Polar checkout and related reseller services, and Polar Privacy Policy for how Polar handles personal data.

What supports the 1-minute estimate?
The figures on our 1-minute video pricing page are calculated reference estimates for 1280x704 output without optional enhancements. That page distinguishes an already-running session from one requiring setup and shows the reference check date.
These figures are not a measured customer benchmark, a speed guarantee or an independent comparison with another provider. Selected options and actual usage determine your final charge. Review the result for visual consistency and audio timing before sharing it.
